Paradowski Graphic Design Receives Award for Holiday Wrapping Paper

ST. LOUIS (August 13, 2002) - Paradowski Graphic Design, a leading St. Louis-based design firm, received an Award of Merit for Self Promotion and will be recognized in HOW magazine's 2002 Self-Promotion Annual in October for its holiday wrapping paper design.

The wrapping paper was designed as a gift for clients and vendors. All employees - designers and non-designers - were invited to submit ideas for the wrapping paper. "The intent of the wrapping paper was to give something of ourselves rather than purchasing something, while involving the entire company as much as possible," explains Alex Paradowski, principal.

The paper consisted of product and packaging design. The eight sheets of paper in each package included four designs, each silk screened in two color variations.

"As a creative firm, we believe if we give a holiday gift, it should reflect our firm's creative talent and the fun we have in our work. We view this as an opportunity to telegraph a message to our audience that distinguishes us," Paradowski adds.
